 INOGATE is the energy technical cooperation programme between the European Union (EU), Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Started in 1996 and expanded in 2004 through Baku Initiative policy framework, the Programme’s four objectives are. Convergence of the energy market on the basis of EU principles, enhancing energy security, supporting sustainable energy development and attracting investment towards energy projects of common and regional interest.
