ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN CROATIA

This report presents an analysis of energy efficiency trends in Croatian on the basis of energy efficiency indicators based on  the ODYSSEE methodology in the period 1992-2004. The report starts with a review of general context of energy efficiency, i.e. economic and energy consumption development, the policy background on energy efficiency, energy law, policy instruments, international obligations on environmental protection. The energy consumption and trends in energy intensity are presented, in total and at sectoral level, including the energy efficiency by sector.
