Reconstruction of Dubrava Hydroelectric Power
Plant
The project aims to determine the power generation potential of Dubrava power
plant in relation to different reconstruction scenarios, and analyse results from an
energy, economic and financial aspect. The analysis should show the feasibility
of investing into various reconstruction activities in relation to the benefits derived
from such activities.
The study provides a short overview of the methodology for calculating potential
for electricity generation in hydroelectric power plants. Potential generation capacity
of Dubrava HPP has been calculated for four reconstruction scenarios. These
provided an insight into the contribution of each analysed scenario to the energy
system in relation to the present condition. The economic and financial analysis
of the project analysed the condition with or without realised investments into the
reconstruction of the HPP. The difference between the two conditions is the result
of additional reconstruction investments.
