The annual energy balance of the Republic of Croatia analyses energy flows and
relations within the Croatian energy system.
The energy balance is prepared by analysing basic data related to all energy forms
utilised in the Republic of Croatia. Its structure is such that production of primary
energy, imports and exports of primary and converted energy, and total primary
energy supply can be determined. Energy conversions and production of converted
energy are analysed in detail. The balance illustrates energy consumption within
the energy sector, energy losses in transmission and distribution, and final energy
demand.
