The project describes, compares and evaluates new and advanced biomass technologies for energy production which can improve economic productivity within the region and contribute to environmental protection.

Two international conferences will be organised under the framework of the project. They should significantly improve regional cooperation and the efficient use of energy from biomass. Important components of the project are awareness raising; transfer of information, knowledge and technology; promotion of domestic and EU investments.
